The conference aims to celebrate the work of Professor Anthony Iarrobino in algebra and geometry. Its main purpose is to bring together internationally recognised specialists and young researchers to discuss, and share methods and results related to the following four topics: commuting nilpotent matrices, Jordan types of Artinian algebras, geometry of punctual Hilbert schemes, Artinian Gorenstein algebras and symmetric decompositions of their associated graded algebras. The expectation is that bringing together senior specialists and young researchers at this conference will help strengthen existing collaborations and initiate new ones.
